Police Reunion: 1 part rock, 2 parts scented candle

Wish I could've captured the Ghost in the Machine screen above better. Damnit.

Now blinds can be just like regulars.

Like the lighting essence of people-goo in Troll 2.

We're famous. We're in a huge arena. No one can see us anyway, really. Let's use a bunch of gay lights.

How Jeff and Ted felt about "Walking in Your Footsteps" and the übersilly dino graphic accompanying it.

Look how nice Dickless looks here. How deceptive.

There was definitely a little Hatha yoga thrown in there, too. These are the best pics from the show. We were on a good level, but pretty far away. Also, my camera has serious blur issues when I turn the flash off. Lame. I'm certainly glad I went; obviously, how could the Grizz not, but it was basically just okay. About what we were expecting, which was not terribly tight, crowd-pleaser set list, a lot of retarded middle-aged yuppies dancing horrifically. Basically your typical, over-the-hill, multi-million dollar summer reunion tour. Andy Summers, however, is a golden guitar god. The man made that show happen. In his honor, Sting and Stewie should be forced to play "Omegaman" every night from here on out, the one tune I would have payed another 100 bucks to hear. Oh well.

The Police? Sometimes you're gayer than I thought. Did you see my Uncle Tim there? He like The Police too. He's a concrete salesman. He's also 50 years old. Rock and roll!

The Police now: gay. The Police 25 years ago: ridiculously awesome. Please try to tell me that none of the little indie bands you listen to are not influenced by, let alone lifting ideas from, the Police. Just try. Because the bros and I will swoop down upon you like harpies to a jungle monkey.

Things that were awesome 25 years ago:

1. asbestos
2. anonymous sex in San Francisco bathhouses
3. The Police
4. apartheid
5. drunken dorm sex/faulty condom operation by my parents (I am 25 years old)

Your witness.
